COMMUNITY NEWS - 'CAT TALES READING PROGRAM
Defenseman Mike Stuart, and our All-Star Mascot Scratch, will be on hand at the Millbury Public Library from 6-7 PM for 'Cat Tales, the official reading program of the Worcester IceCats, on Wed., Dec. 29th from 6-7 PM. Scratch and an IceCats player will then be at the Worcester Public Library on Dec. 30th from 12:30-1:30 PM. Kids will also receive a reading form from the IceCats that can help them earn great IceCats prizes month to month. For further information contact Chris Bergstrom at 508-797-1205.
WHO'S HOT - #8 Center BRIAN BONIN:
Signed to a Professional Tryout Contract on December 17th, Bonin scored his first goal as an IceCat in his first game on December 20 in Bridgeport. By skating in that game, he became the third Hobey Baker Award winner to play for Worcester this season (Sejna & Mottau). The Hobey is given to college hockey's most outstanding player.
