IceCats Goalie Recalled

WORCESTER, MA -The Worcester IceCats of the American Hockey League (AHL) today announced that goaltender Cody Rudkowsky has been recalled by the IceCats National Hockey League (NHL) affiliate, the St. Louis Blues.

The 6'1" Rudkowsky made his NHL debut with the Blues on October 24, 2002 in Edmonton, earning his first NHL victory. The native of Willingdon, Alberta has appeared in 76 games for the Worcester IceCats over the last three-plus seasons, registering 28 wins, 27 losses and 11 ties. The former 1999 Canadian Hockey League Goaltender of the Year was originally signed by the St. Louis Blues as a free agent on March 25, 1999.

The IceCats will be conducting a FREE team autograph session TONIGHT from 6 PM to 8 PM at the IceCats Team Shop located at 105 Commercial St. in Downtown Worcester.

The FREE session is open to the public and will include all of your favorite IceCats players with the entire 2002-2003 Worcester IceCats team scheduled to be on hand. Scratch, the IceCats All-Star Mascot, will also be signing autographs.

The IceCats Team Shop will also have extended hours for player photos and all holiday shopping.

Worcester is on the road Friday night in Hartford and returns home to the Centrum Centre for a pair of games, Saturday, December 7th with a 7:05 PM tilt against the Lowell Lock Monsters and a 4:05 PM game on Sunday against the Manitoba Moose.
