IceCaps Recall Hutchinson, Re-Assign Olkinuora

The St. John's IceCaps announced today they have recalled goaltender Michael Hutchinson from the Ontario Reign of the ECHL. They also announced they have re-assigned goaltender Jussi Olkinuora to Ontario.

Hutchinson, 23, has played in 28 games with the Reign so far this season. In that time, the Barrie, ON native has earned a 22-4-2 record, 2.08 goals against average and 0.921 save percentage. He also suited up for one game with the IceCaps this season. Hutchinson has played in 88 career AHL games between Providence and St. John's for a 39-38-5 career record, 2.57 career goals against average and 0.916 career save percentage.

He was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in the third round, 77th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
