Three straight overtime playoff games Ice Pilots trail series 2 games to 1. The Ice Pilots lost Game one of the American Conference Quarter Final Round Playoff series to Greenville last Thursday night 5-4 in overtime at home in front of 2,547 fans. Ryan Vince scored two goals for the Ice Pilots. Jordan Krestanovich and Aaron Phillips also scored goals for the Ice Pilots. David Herring scored two goals for the Grrrowl including the game winner in overtime. Brian Lee also scored two goals and Dylan Stanley scored the other goal. The Ice Pilots had 34 shots on goal, 16 penalty minutes and went 1-4 on the power play. Greenville had 32 shots on goal, 14 penalty minutes and went 3-5 on the power play. Frederic Cloutier was the losing goalie and Mike Morrison picked up the win in goal for the Grrrowl.
The Ice Pilots lost game two of the series at home on Friday night 3-2 in front of 3,613 fans. Dwayne Hay and Aaron Phillips scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Jason Josza, Martin St. Pierre and Richard Pitirri scored goals for the Grrrowl. Pittirri scored the game winner in overtime. The Ice Pilots had 55 shots on goal, 22 penalty minutes and went 1-8 on the power play. Greenville had 31 shots on goal, 26 penalty minutes and went 0-2 on the power play. Frederic Cloutier was the losing goalie and Mike Brodeur picked up the win in goal for Greenville.
The Ice Pilots won game three of the series 3-2 in overtime at Greenville in front of 3,253 fans. Cam Keith scored two goals in the game for the Ice Pilots. Dwayne Hay scored the game winning goal in overtime. Colin Pepperall and Jason Josza scored goals for the Grrrowl. The Ice Pilots had 38 shots on goal, 16 penalty minutes and went 0-8 on the power play. Greenville had 29 shots on goal, 31 penalty minutes and went 1-5 on the power play. Frederic Cloutier was the winn ing goalie and Mike Morrison took the loss in goal for Greenville.

Cost of individual home playoff tickets are $24 for glass seats, $17 for side seats, $15 for goals and lower upper seats and $12 for upper level seats, plus any applicable convenient charge.

Ice Pilots defeated Greenville 4-2 on November 27th at home this season in the only meeting between the two teams during the regular season. Nick Lindberg, Dominc D'Amour, David Turon and Tyler Beechey scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Carl Mallette and Krys Barch scored goals for Greenville. The Ice Pilots had 28 shots on goal, 22 penalty minutes and went 1-3 on the power play. Greenville had 27 shots on goal, 19 penalty minutes and went 0-3 on the power play. Todd Ford was the winning goalie for the Ice Pilots and Mike Morrison was the losing goalie for Greenville. Morrison started the game and stopped 19 out of 22 shots and was relieved by Mike Brodeur stopping 5 out of 6 shots. The Ice Pilots have an all time regular season record of 5-4-0 vs. Greenville including a record of 3-2-0 at home and 2-2-0 on the road.

Fans can put down a $50 deposit and will not have to pay the rest of the balance until September 1st. Leading Scorers During Regular Season: Jordan Krestanovich finished the regular season as the top scorer for the Ice Pilots with 68 points. Aaron Phillips and Tyler Beechey finished second with 67 points. Phillips led the team with 52 assists which was third best in the league. Phillips also had the best plus/minus rating in the ECHL at +36. Beechey finished tied for first in the league with 9 game winning goals and 4 shorthanded assists. Corey Neilson finished tied for first in the league with 33 power play points. Frederic Cloutier finished tied for first in the league among goalies with 32 wins and third with 1,417 saves. Cloutier also finished second in the league with 5 shutouts and 12th with a 2.37 goals against average. Todd Ford finished with the ninth best goals against average at 2.32. Mark Rooneem had the fifth best shooting percentage among rookies at .152. Corey Neilson ended the regular season as the top scoring defenseman in the league with 62 points. Neilson also led all defenseman with 18 goals, 44 assists, 10 power play goals, 5 game winning goals and was second with 247 shots. He also was second among defenseman with 23 power play assists and tied for first with 33 power play points.
Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award this season. Jordan Krestanovich ends up with 68 points to lead Ice Pilots in regular season. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top sco rer. Assigned Players from Toronto Maple Leafs: The Ice Pilots currently have nine players on the roster assigned from Toronto. They are goalie Todd Ford, forward Scott May, defenseman Dominic D'Amour, center Chris St. Jacques, center Kris Newbury, defenseman Tyson Marsh, cent er Cory Stillman, forward Robb Palahnuk and left wing Cam Keith. Kris Newbury and Robb Palahnuk are currently recalled to St. John's with Palahnuk loaned to San Antonio. Tyler Beechey is also recalled to St. John's
Kerr's Kids: For the second season in a row the Ice Pilots are introducing "Kerr's Kids." Thanks to Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and SMG (Pensacola Civic Center), the Ice Pilots would like to invite organizations devoted to helping children who are terminally ill or have special limitations to be our guest during the 2004-05 regular season for a great night of hockey. Each organization is encouraged to pick 3-4 dates throughout the regular season. The Ice Pilots will provide free admission for 12 people (We would like to have at least 6 or more children, escorts are required for the children and are counted as part of the 12). SMG will provide a hot dog and soda for each guest. If accessible seating is needed the Ice Pilots must be notified at least 2 da ys in advance and seating will be arranged. All members must stay in a ssigned seats. Please provide a list of attendee's 24 hours prior to game day. Listen to games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network with the new Ice Pilots Flagship radio home AM 1620: Fans can listen to Ice Pilots games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network. The network includes new flagship radio station AM 1620, Cox Communications and at icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. The game will also be taped delayed by Leafs TV. The pre-game show for Tuesday's game begins at 5:50 p.m. and the pre game show for Thursday's game if necessary for game 5 will begin at 6:50 p.m.
Ice Pilots Offer Pay-Per-View Webcasts with B2 Networks this season. The Ice Pilots home games and several road games will be available for viewing on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. The Ice Pilots have partnered with B2 Net works based in Las Vegas, Nevada on the pay-per-view broadcast.
Fans will be able
to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Ice Pilots website to
view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with a high speed
DSL or Cable modem internet connection and the charge is $6 per game. At this time
a total of 58 of the Ice Pilots 72 regular season games will be available for
viewing at www.icepilots.com. Tuesday night's game (Game 4) at Greenville will not
be available as a pay per view webcast as Greenville does not have the B2 Network
hook up. Game 5 at Pensacola if necessary will be available for a pay per view
webcast.
