
ECHL Holds Job Fair In Las Vegas On June 6

PRINCETON, N.J. â The ECHL in association with Work In Sports announced
that the ECHL Job Fair will be held June 6 at the Alexis Resort and Villas in Las
Vegas.
ECHL teams will be interviewing for several positions with an emphasis on
ticketing and sales positions. Positions include but are not limited to
ticket sales director, ticket account executive, corporate sales executive,
corporate sales coordinator, marketing director, media relations director,
broadcaster and game-day operations staff.
The ECHL Job Fair will be using PrecisionHire Sports, an innovative
product developed by Work In Sports. PrecisionHire Sports is
an applicant-tracking system designed specifically to cater to the hiring
needs of employers in the sports industry.
Interested applicants can go to
echl.precisionhire.com for the online application until May 2.
Applications will be reviewed and applicants selected for interviews will
be notified by May 11. Applicants must confirm their attendance by May 15.
Each applicant will be provided with an interview schedule and all selected
applicants are guaranteed a minimum of three interviews of approximately
15-20 minutes. Applicants will also be allowed to distribute resumes to
team representatives.
The Premier "AA" Hockey League, the ECHL has been a stepping stone to the
American Hockey League and the National Hockey League for front office
personnel as well as players, coaches and on-ice officials. The league
played with 28 teams in 16 states and one Canadian province in 2004-05 and
in 2005-06 welcomes Stockton (California) and Phoenix (Arizona).
