Mississippi Sea Wolves News Release
BILOXI, Miss. â Mississippi Sea Wolves general manager and head coach Bob Woods announced today that left wing Darryl Campbell has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve.
Campbell, 28, missed five games including three in the Kelly Cup Playoffs after being placed on the injured reserve on April 8. The 6-foot and 195-pound Campbell tallied five goals including one shorthand marker and 16 points, while picking up 26 penalty minutes in 61 regular season games with the Sea Wolves in 2004-05. A native of Strathroy, Ontario, Campbell is in his fourth professional season and second year with Mississippi.
Campbell is expected to be in the Mississippi lineup tonight at 6:05 p.m. CT against the Gwinnett Gladiators at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia for Game 4 of the American Conference Quarterfinals.
