Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release

FT. MYERS, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots look to continue their good play since the All-Star break tonight (Friday) when they face-off in the first of two against the Florida Everblades at Germain Arena in Estero, FL at 7:30 pm eastern, 6:30 pm central time.

The Ice Pilots have a 5 - 4 mark in nine games since the All-Star break and one of those victories was a 2-1 overtime decision over the Everblades last Tuesday night at The Hangar.

Pensacola has a 2-3 record in five games versus the Everblades and goaltender Michael Mole has both victories and a Goals Against Average of 1.47. The Blue and Gold continue to do well when lead in hockey games -- and have eight wins when they lead after the first 20 minutes and 11 wins when in front after the second period.

It was a good recent home stand for the Ice Pilots with record of 2-2 and key victories over the Everblades and the Charlotte Checkers. The two wins give the Ice Pilots a total of eight at The Hangar this season.

Fans can tune into tonight's game on Classic Country AM1620, beginning with Ice Pilots Countdown to Face-off at 6:15 pm central. Denis J. Puska has all of the heart-stopping action at 6:30 pm.
