Wildcatters' Captain Cote Called up to AHL Norfolk

Duluth, GA (February 9, 2007) Wildcatters Head Coach and Vice President of Hockey Operations Malcolm Cameron has announced that Brandin Cote has been signed to a 25 game professional tryout with the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL. Cote is tied for third on the Wildcatters in scoring with 43 points. He has 19 goals and 24 assists with a plus 11 rating and has captained the Wildcatters since the opening game of the season. Cote is tied for second in the ECHL with five game winning goals.

No stranger to Norfolk, Cote, 25, played three seasons with the Admirals before going to Europe last season where he played for Nottingham of the EIHL. From 2002-2005 with Norfolk, Cote played in 189 games, scoring 14 goals and 25 assists for 39 points with 183 PIM.

The Texas Wildcatters are the ECHL affiliate for the AHL's Houston Aeros. The next Wildcatters home game is on Friday, February 16 vs. the Pensacola Ice Pilots.
