Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release
LONG BEACH, Calif. â The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced today the team's regular season schedule for the 2002-03 West Coast Hockey League season. This schedule replaces the one released last month.
The Ice Dogs, who reached the playoffs the past six years, will open their seventh season on the road against the four-time Taylor Cup Champion San Diego Gulls on Saturday, Oct. 12. The Ice Dogs will play two road games before their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 26, against the Gulls at 7 p.m. at the Long Beach Arena. The 72-game schedule has the Ice Dogs playing in a single division with the top four (of six) teams making the playoffs.
