
Everblades Re-Sign Anderson

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Gerry Fleming announced today that Keith Anderson has been signed by the Everblades for the 2002-03 season. Last season Anderson (6'2", 200) registered nine goals and nineteen assists for twenty-eight points in sixty-eight regular season games. Anderson joins Vince Williams, Tom Buckley, Lee Ruff, Mario Joly and Tom Nelson on the Everblades roster so far for the 2002-03 campaign.
The 24 year old Anderson played four years of collegiate hockey at St. Cloud State University from 1997-2001 prior to joining the Everblades and tallied 73 points in 147 career games. Everblades head coach Gerry Fleming is looking for Anderson to continue his steady play when the Everblades open the 2002-03 preseason on Friday, October 4th against the Columbus Cottonmouths at TECO Arena. " We are happy to have Keith back this season. We feel that he has developed into a strong physical power forward and will build on his solid rookie campaign. We look for Keith to continue his steady play during his second season with us." Florida opens training camp on October 1st and battle the Columbus Cottonmouths in two preseason contests at TECO Arena on Friday, October 4th and Saturday, October 5th at 7:30 PM.
