Round Rock, TX - The Iowa Cubs (4-6) snapped a six-game losing streak against Round Rock dating back to 2015 as they shutout the Express (6-4) 7-0, Saturday at Dell Diamond. Iowa rallied for a season-high 15 hits as each I-Cub reached base safely.

Iowa took its' first lead of the season against Round Rock in the fourth when Kristopher Negr?"n put down a squeeze bunt to score Ryan Kalish. John Andreoli added a two-RBI triple in the inning as Logan Watkins and Daniel Vogelbach each followed with a hit to propel Iowa to a 5-0 lead.

There was no looking back for the I-Cubs as they added another unanswered run in the sixth when Vogelbach singled in Willson Contreras from second. Iowa put one more tally on the board in the ninth to solidify the final score.

In his first start since Sept. 1, 2015, righty Tyler Wagner gave the I-Cubs 3.2 scoreless innings, allowing three hits, two walks and dishing out four strikeouts. Scott Barnes (1-1) earned his first win of the season after throwing 2.1 relief innings and striking out four batters.

Kalish led the offensive charge, going 3-for-4 with one walk and has now reached base in eight of nine plate appearances in this series. Contreras added three hits as Vogelbach, Tim Federowicz and Munenori Kawasaki each knocked a pair.
