Hustle Winning Streak Ended by Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City - The Memphis Hustle had its four-game winning streak snapped by the Oklahoma City Blue in a 119-111 loss at Cox Convention Center Friday night, ending what was tied for the longest winning streak in Hustle history.
Neither team led by more than four in the opening frame, but Oklahoma City would obtain a 10-point lead with 4:24 remaining in the second quarter before Memphis trimmed the Blue lead to 52-50 at halftime.
The difference came in the third quarter, with Oklahoma City outscoring the Hustle 31-21 and knocking down 5-of-9 (.556) three-point attempts while forcing seven Hustle turnovers.
In his first game back after being called up by the Denver Nuggets, Brandon Goodwin scored 22 points to go with seven assists. Dusty Hannahs added 21 points, marking his 10th straight game in double figures and his fifth 20-point outing in his last 10 games. Doral Moore had a season-high 15 points to go with eight rebounds. Kyle Casey (11 points, 11 rebounds) had his second straight double-double. Tarik Phillip (14 points) and Tanner McGrew (12 points) also reached double figures.
Donte Grantham (25 points) led the Oklahoma City effort while knocking down 6-of-9 three-point attempts. Two-way player Deonte Burton added 24 points and fell one rebound shy of a double-double. Scotty Hopson scored 23 points on an efficient 9-of-11 from the field and knocked down all three of his three-point attempts. Richard Solomon (11 points, 10 rebounds) logged a double-double for Oklahoma City.
The Hustle will continue on a six-game road trip, with its second matchup against the Northern Arizona Suns this Sunday, December 16 at 4 p.m. CT. The Hustle return to Landers Center on Thursday, January 3 at 7 p.m. to take on the Stockton Kings.
