Fort Wayne, IN - Fort Wayne Wizards catcher Nick Hundley was activated from the disabled list and catcher Luany Sanchez, who was called up to replace Hundley, has been sent back to the San Diego Padres extended spring training camp in Peoria, Arizona.

Hundley was injured on Sunday, May 28 after taking a foul ball off his throwing hand in the ninth inning against the Lansing Lugnuts (Toronto Blue Jays affiliate).

He is hitting .238 with 12 doubles and 19 runs batted in, in 34 games with Fort Wayne this season.

Sanchez appeared in three games with the Wizards and hit .400 with two runs batted in.

Hundley will be active for the final game of the Wizards current five-game road trip against the Peoria Chiefs (Chicago Cubs affiliate).

Fort Wayne begins a four-game homestand at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday against the West Michigan Whitecaps (Detroit Tigers affiliate).
