
Houston Astros' World Series Trophy on Display Friday

TROY, N.Y. - The Houston Astros captured their first ever World Series Championship in 2017, with five former ValleyCats on the active roster. The Capital Region will have a chance to view the trophy on Friday, August 3 at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, as it makes its way to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
The trophy will be on display once gates open at 6:00pm, until 8:00pm, as fans will be allowed to take their picture with this piece of baseball history.
It's Boots, BBQ & Baseball Night presented by Slidin' Dirty, as the ValleyCats, a New York-Penn League affiliate of the Astros, host the Lowell Spinners, minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. First pitch is 7:00pm, and following the game will be a fireworks extravaganza presented by Market 32.
