Hounds Introduce Dollar Dog Day

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO - The Youngstown SteelHounds announced today that Sunday, January 20th will be Dollar Hot Dog Day when the Hounds host the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs at 4:05pm.

"We are excited at the opportunity to offer this tremendous value to our loyal fans" said General Manager Joe Gregory. "We schedule Sunday afternoon games with families in mind. Now we can provide an economical meal along with quality family entertainment."

In addition to Dollar Hot Dog Day, there will be a special skating exhibition by the Greater Youngstown Skating Club after the game.

The Hounds will host the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs all weekend long with Friday and Saturday's games scheduled for 7:05 pm. Saturday night will be Military Night at the Chevrolet Centre. There will be concourse exhibits from various branches of the military in addition to several military vehicles on display. The SteelHounds will also wear desert camouflage jerseys with commemorative 910th Airlift Wing patches. The jerseys will be worn both Friday and Saturday night and will be auctioned following Saturday night's game.

Friday and Saturday night will also be the SteelHounds annual food drive benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. All fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to both games. Fans making a donation will receive a special offer for a future SteelHounds game.
