Second Half: The Tulsa Oilers and the rest of the Central Hockey League celebrate the league's all-star game Wednesday night at Rocky Mountain. The Oilers resume regular season play Friday at Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday at Oklahoma City at 7:35 p.m. Both games can be heard on KRVT AM 1270 and via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com.

One Star: Warren McCutcheon is the Oilers lone representative on the Northern Conference all-star team. He is tied for the team lead in goals with 18 and is third in scoring with 31 points.

Tough Week: The Oilers dropped two out of three games last week. They gave up an empty net goal in a 6-4 loss to Oklahoma City. Tulsa bounced back with a strong 5-2 win at Texas over the Brahmas on Friday night, but dropped a 2-1 decision to the Brahmas on Saturday night.

Still Rollin': Jeff Christian and David Alexandre Beauregard both continued their point scoring streaks through three games last week. Christian has the current longest point streak in the league at 16 games and has eight goals and 18 assists in that stretch. Beauregard has the league's second longest current streak now at 14 games. He has registered eight goals and 11 assists in his streak.

A Classic: Fans can join Oiler players for a FREE showing of the hockey movie Slap Shot Tuesday night at Cosmo Café at 6:30 p.m. Slap Shot has adult language and has become a hockey and comedy classic. The Cosmo Café is located at 68^th and Memorial between Red Lobster and Ruby Tuesday.
