Hounds Hold Teddy Bear Toss this Sunday

Soo Greyhounds News Release


The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club would like to remind all fans that the ANNUAL TEDDY BEAR TOSS AND STUFF-A-BUS CAMPAIGN is scheduled for this Sunday, November 20th when the Hounds play host to the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.

Game time is 7:05 p.m. at the Essar Centre.

** Please note the date change from the previously printed team materials that had it listed for Friday

Fans are highly encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to the game and when the Hounds score their first goal of the game, the fans are to throw the stuffed animals onto the ice. (Fans are encouraged to place the animal in a plastic bag)

For the "Stuff-A-Bus" portion of the vent, a City transit vehicle will be parked at the main entrance of the Essar Centre and staff will be accepting donations of new or gently used toys and clothing along with non-perishable food items.

All donations from this event will go towards Christmas Cheer to help those less fortunate in our community.
