
Homers by Murr and Holton Can't Overcome Shaky Start

The SeaWolves (19-13) dropped a second straight to Harrisburg (21-13) as they fell on Wednesday, 7-4.
Harrisburg started the scoring early against Erie starter Wilkel Hernandez. Three first-inning singles, including a run-scoring single by Yohandy Morales, plated the game's first run.
In the second, the Senators loaded the bases with two out. Dylan Crews then unloaded the bases on a three-run double, which made it 4-0.
Erie cut the Senators' lead in half in the third when Austin Murr blasted a two-run home run against starter Brad Lord. The home run was Murr's first Double-A hit.
Jackson Cluff's solo home in the third extended the Harrisburg lead to 5-2.
Dérmis Garcia had the knockout blow against Hernandez in the fifth when he scored Cluff on a run-scoring double. Hernandez allowed a career-high 10 hits without recording an out in the fifth. He was charged with six runs, walked three, and struck out three.
Jake Higginbotham threw three perfect innings for Erie in relief.
Jake Holton clobbered a two-run home run against Holden Powell in the eighth to cut Erie's deficit to 6-4.
Harrisburg tacked on a run in the bottom of the eighth when Crews hit an RBI double. His third hit of the game scored his fourth RBI.
Lord (3-1) earned the win for Harrisburg. Hernandez (0-1) took his first loss. Orlando Ribalta secured his third save.
Erie and Harrisburg will play a doubleheader on Thursday. Game one begins at 5:30 p.m Garrett Burhenn makes his Double-A debut for Erie in game one opposed by Kyle Luckham. Neither team has announced a starter for game two.
