Fernando Romero and two relievers combined on a six-hit shutout as Class A Fort Myers beat St. Lucie 1-0 Thursday night. Romero pitched 6.1 innings, allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out eight. Miracle pitchers combined to strike out 13 Met hitters on the evening . The Miracle are now only one game out of first place in the Florida State League's South Division.
