The second-place IronPigs (74-51) play a doubleheader -- Games 2 and 3 of a five-game, four-day series -- against the sixth-place Syracuse Chiefs (55-69) at NBT Bank Stadium... With a 2-1 loss in 12 innings last night, the Pigs have now dropped 9 of their last 15 contests since setting a franchise high-water mark of 26 games above .500 on Aug. 2 (68-42). The Pigs, who remain 22-12 after the All-Star Break, hold a 5.5-game lead in the Wild Card standings... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have still dumped eight of their last 10 against the Pigs and are just 10-19 since July 20. After reaching a high-water mark of 27-21 through May 29, Syracuse has gone 29-48... The Pigs recently swept the last meeting in a three-game series at Coca-Cola Park, July 26-27.

In Game 1, RHP Phil Klein (2-1, 1.64) will start for LHV against RHP Taylor Hill (6-10, 4.63).

In Game 2, LHP James Russell (3-5, 3.79) will start for LHV against RHP Paolo Espino (7-10, 3.55).

First-Pitch of Game 1 is at 5:05 p.m.
