Hockey Night in Augusta
December 11, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Augusta Lynx News Release
The Augusta Lynx look to snap a four-game losing skid tonight at home, Saturday, Dec. 11, against the Charlotte Checkers. Faceoff is 7:35 p.m.
Tonight's game features a host of events, including the giveaway of a $1,000 shopping spree to Windsor Jewelers. You can still enter the drawing tonight. Deadline is the end of the first period, and the winner will be drawn during the second intermission.
Also, it's Teddy Bear Toss Night to benefit Toys for Tots. Bring a teddy bear to the game and throw it on the ice when the Lynx score their first goal. The Lynx will give you a coupon for a free ticket to a future game if you bring a bear! You can pick up the coupon as you come through the doors of the Civic Center on Saturday.
Then, we continue giving out our surprise gift for our loyal Season Ticket Holders, who continue to stand behind the team through thick and thin. Season Ticket Holders who didn't make it down to the Lynx Den on Friday can pick up their set of three Lynx hockey cards in the Lynx Den both before the game or during the first or second intermissions. Season Ticket Holders also can claim a special coupon for a free 8x10 portrait from our friends at Sears Portrait Studio.
Also, The Lynx Den (exhibition hall) is a great place for a great pregame meal, discount adult beverages ($1 Off Beer and Mixed Drinks) and the All-New Augusta Lynx Kid Zone, featuring free moonwalks and more.
Tonight's Lynx Den meal is:
Baked Penne Pasta and Meatballs, and includes unlimited iced tea, Starbucks coffee, water, dinner rolls and dessert. Centerplate Catering has something for the kids too -- a special Pizza and a Coke Kids Meal.
Season Ticket Holders: $7
Non Season Ticket Holders: $9
Kids Meal: $4
The Lynx Den will be open beginning at 6:05 p.m. at the special entrance in the parking lot facing the railroad tracks.
Season Ticket Holders, don't forget to download your official Lynx Media Notes for tonight's game at www.augustalynx.com. They are now available online in the STH/SPONSOR ZONE.
