
Hitmen Tie Season-High 12 Game Winning Streak With Win Over Regina

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen tied their season-high 12 game winning streak Wednesday night with a 6-3 win over the Regina Pats.
Joel Broda and Brett Sonne each scored twice and set up another. Broda now has 49 goals, Sonne 46.
Carson McMillan (28) and Kris Foucault (8) also scored for the Hitmen who erased first period deficits of 1-0 and 2-1.
Keith Seabrook had three assists for Calgary while Paul Postma chipped in a pair of helpers as the Hitmen outshot the Pats 50-15.
At 55-7-3-1, Calgary leads the Western Hockey League Standings with 114 points. They sit eight points ahead of the Vancouver Giants for first place overall.
The Hitmen will now play their final regular season home game on Saturday night against the Kelowna Rockets. The Rockets line-up boasts three World Juniors. Canadian Gold Medalists Jamie Benn and Tyler Myers along with Sweden's Silver Medalist and Calgary Flames first round pick Michael Backlund.
It's fan appreciation night where one lucky fan will win a Dodge Caravan. The first 5,000 fans in the building will receive a Marble Slab Team Poster.
