EVERETT WA - The Vancouver Giants rolled on in their eight games in ten nights run and tonight rolled over the Everett Silvertips by the score of 8-0 here in Everett.
Garry Nunn tallied the hat trick for Vancouver while Craig Cunningham and Adam Basford each scored a pair of goals for the G-Men. James Wright also found the back of the net as the Giants pounded 49 shots on Thomas Heemskerk and Kent Simpson of Everett.
Tyson Sexsmith was sharp in goal early and picked up his 36th win of the season as well as his 6th shutout, making 29 saves in the process. Sexsmith now has 26 shutouts in the regular season and 30 overall in his amazing WHL career.
Vancouver continues their busiest time of the season with a game on Friday night versus the Chilliwack Bruins at the Pacific Coliseum. You can catch all the WHITE SPOT GIANTS HOCKEY action on AM 650, with the pregame show at 7 pm from the Pacific Dining Lounge with Brook Ward and Steve Ewen from the PROVINCE. Dave Sheldon and Steve will have the call from the Rink on Renfrew at 7:30 pm.
