
Bowman Scores Four, Chiefs Win 5-2

Drayson Bowman scored the first four Spokane goals as the Chiefs posted a 5-2 win in Kamloops on Wednesday night.
Bowman gave the Chiefs a 1-0 lead before Scott Wasden tied the game 8 minutes later. Bowman then restored the one-goal lead just two minutes after Wasden's goal. Bowman counted twice more in the second period - once on the powerplay - for a 4-1 lead after two. Curtis Kulchar brought the Blazers back to within two midway through the third period before Justin McCrae ended the Blazer comeback hopes just 1:09 later.
Final shots were 36-35 Blazers with James Reid earning the win while Jon Groenheyde takes the loss. The Blazers were 0-for-6 on the powerplay while the Chiefs were 1-for-7.
