Hitmen Select Noah Kosick 11th Overall in 2023 WHL Prospects Draft

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club is proud to announce the selection of Noah Kosick with the 11th overall pick in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft. The Prospects Draft is for 2008-born players from the four western provinces and select U.S states.

Born in Kassel, Germany and raised in Victoria BC, Kosick played with the Pacific Coast Academy U18 Prep during the 2022-23 season. The centreman finished the year with 45 points (10G, 35A) in 32 games averaging 1.5 points per game. In the 2021-22 season, Kosick earned the CSSHL U15 scoring title as an underage with 96 points (48G, 67A) in 29 games.

"Noah has great hockey sense and vision for the game, he sees the entire ice surface and is an exceptional passer and has a great stick." said Garry Davidson, Director of Player Personnel. "When we look at players, he just checks all the boxes. His head, hands and feet are really good and we know he's a very driven young man that wants to play at the highest level possible. We're looking for players who want to be hockey players. That's in him and in his DNA."

Today's draft continues online at 2023 WHL Prospects Draft and is hosted by the WHL Office.
