Calgary Hitmen News Release
Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen return to the Scotiabank Saddledome following three straight road wins and open a four-game home stand tonight when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors in the back half of the home-and-home series, with a 7 p.m. puck drop.
On Sunday, November 4, Calgary capped off three games in three nights with a 2-1 overtime victory in Moose Jaw. The Hitmen began the 3-in-3 set last Friday defeating the Pats 4-1 in Regina, followed by a 4-2 win over the Wheat Kings Saturday evening in Brandon.
This Friday, the Victoria Royals visit the Scotiabank Saddledome at 7 p.m. and fans are encouraged to wear black as the Hitmen, in partnership with CrossIron Mills, Blackout the Dome. CrossIron Mills is celebrating Black Friday (November 23), one of the largest retail events south of the border. During the November 9 CrossIron Mills game promotion, the first 2,000 fans will receive black foam fingers. Fans will also have an opportunity to win CrossIron Mills gift certificates when 500 balloons drop from the rafters during the second intermission.
On Monday, November 12, Calgary will honour Hometown Heroes when the Hitmen host the Kootenay Ice at 7 p.m. This game, originally scheduled for Sunday, November 11, was moved to Monday to provide fans with the opportunity to attend the CFL Western Semi-Final at McMahon Stadium on Remembrance Day. Past and present members of the military as well as all police, fire and EMS service members will receive complimentary admission to Monday night's game by presenting their identification card at the Scotiabank Saddledome box office.
