After taking a 1-0 lead through the first period, the Hitmen broke the game open in the second with four goals, two of which were on the power play. Calgary finished the night 3-for-5 on the power play while the Rockets were 0-for-3.
Madison Bowey scored the lone goal for the Rockets in the game's final minute, breaking a shutout bid by Hitmen goalie Chris Driedger when he converted on a nice pass from Tyson Baillie.
