THE HILLCATS...seek to snap a five-game losing streak as they open a seven-game road trip with the first of three against the Potomac Nationals...Suffered a 12-3 drubbing at the hands of the Salem Avalanche last night...Have squandered a lead in 9 of 11 losses to the Avalanche this year...Have allowed 10 or more runs in four of the last five games...Are just 9-22 (.290) in their last 31 games...Are hitting .257 as a team (5th in the CL) and have a collective 5.06 ERA (8th in the CL)...
