Hens Return Home To Face Two IL North Opponents

On Friday, June 9, the Mud Hens will return to Fifth Third Field, coming off of an eight-game road trip, for an eight-game homestand that brings to town two IL North opponents. Ottawa and Syracuse will both be in the Glass City for a four-game set, starting with the Lynx on Friday night and ending on Friday, June 16, against the Sky Chiefs. This homestand will feature high school home run derby contests following each game, two scout sleepovers, and post-game fireworks and live music among other promotions.

Friday, June 9 (Ottawa, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - Tonight's game can be heard live on Sports Radio 1470 AM - The Ticket and can be seen LIVE on BCSN. Tonight marks the third Scout Sleepover following the game. In addition, post-game fireworks, live music from Steve Raszka Band, and High School Home Run Derby featuring Fairview High School and Liberty Center High School. It will also be Family & Child Abuse Prevention Night at Fifth Third Field.

Saturday, June 10 (Ottawa, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - Tonight's game can be heard live on Sports Radio 1470 AM - The Ticket and can be seen LIVE on TV5. Prior to the game, the Principle Financial Family Fun Fest, featuring free inflatable games, will take place from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on St. Clair Street. Fans can also donate non-perishable food items to the 2nd Annual Mud Hens Canned Food Drive, for a chance to win prizes. Collection bins will be located at each entrance. Tonight marks the fourth Scout Sleepover following the game. In addition, post-game fireworks, and a High School Home Run Derby featuring Kalida High School and Tiffin Columbian High School will entertain fans following the game. It will also be Life Connection In Ohio Night at Fifth Third Field.

Sunday, June 11 (Ottawa, 1st pitch @ 6:30 pm) - BCSN will carry the game LIVE or fans can catch all of the action live on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket. Fans can also take part in Autograph Sunday prior to the game (5:45-6:15) and Kids Run The Bases will take place after the game. Dora the Explorer will make an appearance at the game. Following the game, there will be a High School Home Run Derby featuring Libbey High School and Bryan High School and post-game fireworks. Sunday will also be Youth Baseball & Softball Day.

Monday, June 12 (Ottawa, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) -Catch all of the action live on Sports Radio, 1470 AM - The Ticket or be viewed via Tape Delay on BCSN at 11:00 pm. Tonight marks another edition of the High School Home Run Derby, featuring three players from local high schools, Clay High School, Defiance High School and Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic High School.

Tuesday, June 13 (Syracuse, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - It will also be the fifth ProMedica Testing Tuesday, focusing on bike safety. Tonight marks another edition of the High School Home Run Derby, featuring three players from local high schools, Emmanuel Baptist High School, Woodward High School and Woodmore High School. Catch all of the action live on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket or can be seen Tape Delayed on BCSN at 11:00 pm.

Wednesday, June 14 (Syracuse, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) -Tonight marks another edition of the High School Home Run Derby, featuring two players from local high schools, Rogers High School, and Ottawa Hills High School. Thursday, June 15 (Syracuse, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - Catch all of the action live on Sports Radio - 1470 AM, The Ticket and can be seen LIVE on BCSN. Tonight marks another edition of the High School Home Run Derby, featuring two players from local high schools, Northwood High School, and Maumee Valley Country Day High School. It will also be City of Monroe Night and there will be an appearance by Reggy!

Friday, June 16 (Syracuse, 1st pitch @ 7:00 pm) - Catch all the action LIVE on BCSN and as always, turn the radio dial to 1470 AM, The Ticket to catch all of the action live on the airwaves. The final game of the homestand will give fans the opportunity to win a Harley Davidson motorcycle as part of Hens and Hogs Night. The first 1,000 fans will also receive a free travel mug courtesy of Direct Energy as part of Direct Energy Night at Fifth Third Field. Tonight marks the fifth Scout Sleepover following the game. After the game there will also be post-game fireworks, live music from "Big Ticket" and yet another High School Home Run Derby, with participants from St. John's High School and Hilltop High School swinging for the fences.
