Abbotsford, B.C. - For the second night in a row Abbotsford would come back from a 2-0 deficit to force a shootout and defeat the Houston Aeros 3-2 in AHL action on Tuesday night in Abbotsford.

After Jared Palmer and Robby Earl gave the Aeros a 2-0 lead after two periods of play, Heat forward Logan MacMillan would tip home a josh Meyers point shot early in the third to start the comeback. Halfway thru the final frame, defender Chris Breen would tally his first AHL goal, skipping in a slap shot from 80 feet that eluded Aeros goalie Anton Khudobin and tie the game 2-2 after regulation.

Shootout goals from Jon Rheault, Bryan Cameron, and Greg Niemisz would wrap up the win for the Heat as Leland Irving would stand tall again in the shootout, turning aside all but one Houston shooter.

The Heat wraps up their eight-game home stand with a 5-3 record and sweeps an opponent back to back for the first time this season at home. Abbotsford moves into sole possession of first place in the North Division with 19 points.

Abbotsford will now embark on a five game road trip beginning in Providence RI on Friday when they take on the Providence Bruins.
