(Memorial Stadium - Everett, WA) - McGregory Contreras hit his 5th and 6th home runs of the season, and yet it was Troy Dixon's home run in the bottom of the 9th inning that proved to be the winner as Everett handed the Canadians a second straight walk-off defeat, this time it was a 3-2 loss on Thursday afternoon out at Memorial Stadium.
Vancouver (20-20; 1-2) opened the scoring on the first of two home runs from McGregory Contreras in the top of the 3rd inning off reliever RHP Ivan Fortunato giving the C's a 1-0 lead. Troy Dixon, who was hitting .181 coming into the game, tied things up with an RBI single to right that scored Bobby Honeyman.
Connor Hoover would give the Aquasox their first lead of the game in the bottom of the 4th when his single brought home Nick Rodriguez.
Vancouver struggled against Aquasox pitching until the 8th when McGregory Contreras hit his 2nd home run of the day, on the 9th pitch of an at-bat against Noah Zavolas tying the game at 2-2.
