Lexington Legends News Release
Beau Hearod is no Lee Majors but he certainly looked liked the Six Million Dollar Man Tuesday night. The Legends left fielder belted two home runs, including his 2nd Grand Slam of the year in Lexington's 9-3 win over Columbus.
Hearod was 4-4 in the game with a double and single to go along with the two home runs. He scored three times and collected six RBI.
Derick Grigsby picked up his 7th win of the year with six solid innings. Grigsby allowed two runs, walked one and struck out eight. Arturo Lopez suffered his 3rd loss of the year for Columbus.
Hearod wasn't the only offensive standout. Chad Prosser, Freddy Acevedo, and Edwin Maysonet each had two hits in the game. Brock Koman had an RBI double and Scott Robinson singled in a run.
The Legends have taken two of three from Columbus and Wednesday night they'll try for the series win. Josh Muecke will put his 8-0 record on the line. The Catfish will counter with right-hander, Zach Hammes. First pitch is set for 7:05. The Summit mortgage Pre-game Show will start at 6:50 on the Legends Radio Network.
