
Hawks Rally For Big Comeback In Portland

The Portland Winterhawks scored 5 goals in the final 10 minutes of the third period to rally from 5-2 down and beat the Blazers 7-5 on Sundat night in Portland.
Kenton Dulle and Alex Rodgers each scored twice, with Brendan Ranford adding a single, as the Blazers built period leads of 3-1 and 5-2 before Hawks scored 4 goals in a 6-plus minute span to overtake the Blazers then adding an empty netter to put the game away.
Final shots were 46-29 Blazers with Kurtis Mucha getting the win and Justin Leclerc taking the loss. The Blazers were 1-for-4 on the PP and 2-for-2 on the PK.
