Regina Pats News Release
Week in Review:
November 5th, 2008 Everett Silvertips 4 @ Regina Pats 1
The first of a five game home stand began with a thud for the Regina Pats. They were completely thrown off their game, and it showed with a 4-1 loss. Colten Teubert scored the only Pats goal, while Damien Ketlo was tagged with his first loss of the season. The Pat specialty teams were their downfall, they were not able to score with the man-advantage, while giving up two shorthanded goals.
November 7th, 2008 Medicine Hat Tigers 2 @ Regina Pats 4
It was a polar opposite performance for the blue and white two days later at the 'Dome. The high flying Medicine Hat Tigers were grounded by some solid play by all four Pat lines. Brett Leffler scored his 8th of the season, Alex Pym his 2nd, Mitch Czibere his 1st and Jordan Weal his 9th into an empty net. Linden Rowat was the game's first star with a 24 save performance.
November 9th, 2008 Swift Current Broncos 1 @ Regina Pats 5
In their first meeting since upsetting the Pats in the first round of the playoffs, the blue and white got a little revenge on the Swift Current Broncos with the 5-1 victory. Linden Rowat remains undefeated in regulation play with his fifth straight win. Jordan Eberle, Brett Leffler, Tomas Hricina, Mitch Czibere and Jordan Weal all had multiple point nights in the Pat victory, which put them into top spot in the East.
