The Harrisburg Senators and Altoona Curve begin a four-game series at FNB Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

TONIGHT'S GAME The Senators finish the homestand with a four-game series against the Altoona Curve which starts Friday night at FNB Field. The Senators finished a three-game sweep of Erie with their 4-2 win on Wednesday. The Senators are 3-2 against the Curve this season after splitting the first series between the two and taking two out of three from Altoona April 27 to 29. The Senators and Curve are scheduled to play 20 games against each other this season, the second-most frequent Eastern League opponent for the Senators this season.

WINNING TIME With Thursday's 4-2 victory, the Senators captured their first five-game winning streak of the season and secured their first series sweep. The last time the Senators won five in a row was August 23 to 26, 2016. The Senators had just one series sweep last season which came against Richmond, August 15-17. The Senators have not lost a series since they were swept by Trenton May 3 to May 6.

DANIEL JOHNSON FOR THREE Daniel Johnson leads the Eastern League with five triples this season, leading three other players tied for second with four. The most triples by a Senator last season was four by Osvaldo Abreu. The last Senator to hit five or more triples in a season was Isaac Ballou who hit nine in 2016. Johnson is also tied for fourth in the Eastern League with 12 stolen bases.

WHAT WOULD DREW DO After starting the season on the disabled list, Drew Ward went 3-46 (.065) in his first 14 games. In the 13 games since, the 23-year-old is batting .341 with two home runs, six RBI and a 1.008 OPS.

GOOD MORNING The Senators played in their second and final morning game at FNB Field in the series finale against Erie. The Senators moved to 4-1 in morning contests this season. The Senators play their final morning game on May 31 against Hartford at 10:35 a.m.

KKKKKKKKKKYLE MCGOWIN Tuesday night starter Kyle McGowin tossed seven shutout innings and struck out both a career- high and Senators season-high 10 batters. The strikeouts are the most by a Senators pitcher since Erick Fedde struck out 12 against Bowie on August 31, 2016. SENATORS STARTING PITCHER Brady Dragmire starts the series opener for the Senators. The right-hander is 3-2 with a 2.45 ERA this season. Dragmire allowed just one run over five and a third innings in his last start in game two of a doubleheader against Richmond on May 19. ALTOONA STARTING PITCHER Altoona counters with starter Brandon Waddell. The left-hander is 2-0 with a 1.66 ERA over eight games and seven starts this season. Waddell worked six shutout innings in his last start against May 19 vs. Portland. The 23-year-old is the 26th best prospect in the Pirates organization according to MLB.com.
