The Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club would like to thank its fans for breaking the attendance record for a Hamilton Bulldogs game as well as setting a record for the largest crowd at any outdoor American Hockey League game in Canada with 20,565 attendees at the 2012 AHL Outdoor Classic presented by Molson Canadian and Boston Pizza on Saturday, January 21st, 2012.

This week the Hamilton Bulldogs travel to Lake Erie to face the Monsters (AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) at Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. The 'Dogs then return home to battle the Toronto Marlies (AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) at Copps Coliseum on Friday, January 27th, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

For Friday's game against the Marlies and at all Friday night Hamilton Bulldogs home games, fans can purchase draft beer for only $3.00 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum . Fans must be of legal drinking age and are asked to drink responsibly.

At all Sunday afternoon home games, fans can purchase a "Pizza Pizza Family Pack", which includes four tickets to the game and a $20.00 food and beverage voucher for only $60.00! "Pizza Pizza Family Packs" are available at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, the Bulldogs Office at 101 York Boulevard in Hamilton or by calling 905-529-8500 or 1-888-DOGS-TIX (1-888-364-7849).

The Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Milwaukee Admirals 4 - 2 at Copps Coliseum on Wednesday, January 18th, 2012. Aaron Palushaj scored the game-winning goal and recorded an assist while Robert Mayer made 21 saves to earn his seventh win of the season. Chris Mueller netted two goals for the Milwaukee Admirals.

The Toronto Marlies beat the Hamilton Bulldogs 7-2 on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton Ontario as part of the 2012 AHL Outdoor Classic. Dany Masse and Louis Leblanc both scored their eighth goal of the season and Garrett Stafford added an assist, extending his point streak to eight games. Nicolas Deschamps scored a goal and added two helpers for the Toronto Marlies.

There are over 40 former Hamilton Bulldogs currently on NHL rosters. Over 60 percent of all former 'Dogs have played in at least one NHL game. Here are a few highlights and accomplishments of ex-Hamilton Bulldogs from this past week:

- Boston G Tim Thomas earned a win over the New Jersey Devils making 30 saves on 31 shots (Jan. 19) and stopping 33 shots for a win against the Flyers (Jan. 22).

- Montreal LW Andrei Kostitsyn scored a goal and picked up an assist against the Pittsburgh Penguins (Jan. 20), and helped set up a goal vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs (Jan. 21).

- St. Louis G Jaroslav Halak recorded back-to-back shutouts against the Dallas Stars (Jan. 16) and the Edmonton Oilers (Jan. 19) and made 19 saves for a win over the Sabres (Jan. 21).

- Toronto C Mikhail Grabovski netted a goal against the Minnesota Wild (Jan. 10) and picked up an assist vs. the Islanders (Jan. 13).

- Nashville LW Sergei Kostitsyn helped set up a goal vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets (Jan. 19), and he found the twine and recorded an assist vs. the Chicago Blackhawks (Jan. 21).
