Hagerstown:MD, The Hagerstown Suns won their 2nd consecutive one-run game on Tuesday night beating Lake County 3-2. Jeramy Simmons got the win after he went 6 1/3 without yielding an earned run. He scattered five hits, walked two and struck out five. Kevin Tomasiewicz nailed down his 2nd save in as many nights with a scoreless 9th. Tomasiewicz now has 19 saves in 20 opportunities.
Tomorrow, the Suns and Captains play game number 3 of their 4-game set. First Pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm on another "Kids Eat Free Wednesday" presented by Susquehanna Bank and Lite 97.5fm. Any child paying for a full-price General Admission ticket will receive a coupon good for a FREE hotdog, popcorn, drink and candy box.
