Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release
Kannapolis, NC--The Intimidators lost to Asheville, by a final score of 21-2, Tuesday night at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. The game was the last of the 2006 season at home for the Intimidators. The I's went 22-44 at the Cannon this season.
Jose Zazueta took the loss for the Intimidators on Tuesday. He allowed 11 ER in 3.0 IP. Alex Farfan replaced Zazueta in the 4th, and retired one batter. Farfan also allowed 9 ER, 7 hits, walked 3, and threw 3 wild pitches. Brian Omogrosso was the player of the game, as he was perfect over 3.2 IP. Aaron Cunningham went 2-3 with an RBI. Juan Camacho cranked his 3rd homerun of the season. For the Tourists, Dexter Fowler was a homerun short of the cycle. He also plated 5 RBI. Cole Garner and Chris Cook each homered for the 2nd straight night.
With the home schedule complete, the Intimidators head out to Asheville for a pair of games and Greenville for a 4-game series this weekend.
