SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled goaltender Matt Hackett from Utah, San Diego's ECHL affiliate.
Hackett, 25 (3/7/90), appeared in two games with Utah after being assigned on January 16, posting a 2-0-0 record with a 1.89 goals-against average (GAA) and a .932 save percentage (SV%). The London, Ontario native started the season with San Diego, appearing in 10 games with the Gulls and posting a 5-4-0 record with a 2.89 GAA and a .901 SV%.
