Chris Butler Rejoins Wolves

The Chicago Wolves announced Tuesday that veteran defenseman Chris Butler has been reassigned to the team.

The 29-year-old Butler appeared in three games during his week-long stint with the St. Louis Blues and posted a +1 plus/minus rating with 2 penalty minutes. Butler's career NHL totals stand at 13 goals, 71 assists and 185 penalty minutes in 387 games.

The St. Louis native has contributed 2 goals and 8 assists in 27 Wolves appearances this season and owns 3 goals and 16 assists in 41 games since joining the team for the 2014-15 season.

The Wolves continue their road trip at 6 p.m. Friday against the Charlotte Checkers. Chicago returns to Allstate Arena at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, to face the Rockford IceHogs in an Illinois Lottery Cup clash.
