Grizzlies Will Open 2004-05 Season on October 13

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - Utah Grizzlies Executive Vice President Jerry McBurney announced today that the team's home opener will be on the opening day of the 2004-05 American Hockey League (AHL) season, Wednesday, October 13. The opening game opponent has not been determined.

The Grizzlies have also been informed that they will host games on October 15, November 24, December 17 and December 18.

"The 2004-05 season marks a new era in Utah Grizzlies history. We are looking forward to playing our inaugural game as the primary affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes on the very first day of the AHL season," said McBurney. "We look forward to having capacity crowds during all of these prime dates to show the Coyotes and our new team what professional hockey in Utah is all about."
