Aeros' home opener will be October 15

Houston, TX â The American Hockey League's Houston Aeros will open up their 2004-05 home schedule at Toyota Center on Friday, Oct. 15 at 7:05 p.m., the team announced Tuesday. The Aeros' opponent will be announced later this summer when the AHL releases its schedule. The home opener was one of five "prime" dates announced by the Aeros Tuesday.
"It's great to have a date to put on everyone's calendars for the home opener," said Aeros president Tom Garrity. "We sold out our first home opener at Toyota Center and expect to do the same this season with a great Friday date."
The Aeros will also play at home Friday, Oct. 22; Saturday, Oct. 23; Friday, Nov. 12; and Friday, Dec. 17.
