Bears to play home opener October 16

HERSHEY â The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that the American Hockey League's most senior franchise will play it's 67th home opener on Saturday, October 16th at GIANT Center. The club also announced today four other confirmed home dates as provided by the AHL, including dates during the 2004 holiday season.
In addition to the October 16th home opener, HERSHEY will play on Saturday, November 27 at GIANT Center. The team will play home games on Saturday, December 18 and Sunday, December 26 during the holiday season. The BEARS will also play a New Year's Eve game at GIANT Center on Friday, December 31. Opponents for all 2004-05 games as well as game times will be announced later this summer.
The BEARS begin their 67th season in the American Hockey League in October, with the 2004-05 schedule due out in late July. Season tickets are on sale now by calling (717) 508-BEAR, with several different packages available.
