Fresno Grizzlies News Release
FRESNO, Calif. - Even though the Fresno Grizzlies will be on the road on June 8, Grizzlies Stadium will still be rockin' with a "Party in the Park."
Thursday, June 8 will be the first "Party in the Park" at Grizzlies Stadium, featuring music from The A.C. Myles Band and festivities such as the ever-popular Mr. and Mrs. Thirsty Thursday competition.
The A.C. Myles band is known for energetic, live performances and has released two independent blues albums (Roadworthy, 2002 and Music 109, 2004) with a third expected later this year.
The event will be held in Miller Pavilion from 5-9 p.m. and is open to all fans for a cover charge of just $5.
"We are excited to be hosting this unique event to allow fans to visit Grizzlies Stadium for non-baseball events," C.E.O. Pat Filippone said. "We enjoy featuring Grizzlies Stadium as a venue for a variety of events besides just baseball and we feel this event will be a great success."
Tickets for "Party in the Park" can be purchased in advance at the Grizzlies ticket office or by calling 559-320-TIXS and walk-up tickets can also be purchased starting at 4 p.m. on the day of event at the Grizzlies satellite ticket office located on Kern Street near the Fulton Mall.
