Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City, Utah - After trailing Victoria 1-0 in the first period, the Utah Grizzlies scored four consecutive goals enroute to a 4-1 victory over the Salmon Kings at the E-Center Wednesday night.

In the first, each team scored a power-play goal with Matt Craig lighting the lamp for the Grizzlies, with his 18th goal of the season at 17:39 of the first period, tying the game at one.

The Grizzlies took over the game in the latter part of the second. After killing two Victoria power-plays, Colt King scored the eventual game-winner for Utah at 18:22, giving the Grizzlies a 2-1 lead. On the power-play less than a minute later, Ed Hill scored his first goal in a Utah uniform blasting a puck from the point.

Utah added an insurance goal in the third, with newcomer Trevor Baker scoring in his first Utah game. The contest ended with some fireworks, which saw referee Matt Bialota call 62 minutes in penalties following the final buzzer. Travis Rycroft picked up two assists in the win.

Alfie Michaud stopped 23 of 24 Salmon Kings' shots, earning his tenth win of the season for the Grizzlies, who return to the E-Center Thursday night hosting Victoria once again. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
