Grizz Skate Past Salmon Kings

West Valley City, Utah - Once again, the Utah Grizzlies fell behind early to Victoria and once again they rallied to win, 5-2 at the E-Center Thursday night.

Brad Herauf got the scoring started for Utah in the first, shooting the puck from the side of the net, scoring his eighth of the year; that tied the score at one.

In the second, Jeff Miles took over with two goals in less than two minutes as Utah built a 3-1 lead. The Salmon Kings added another power-play goal and Utah held a 3-2 lead after 40 minutes.

West Valley City native D.J. Jelitto and Travis Rycroft added insurance goals for Utah in the third as they coasted to the 5-2 win, their third victory in a row. Justin Eddy stopped 17 of 19 Salmon Kings shots earning his sixth victory of the season.

The Grizzlies return to the E-Center Monday and Tuesday hosting the Idaho Steelheads. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
