Grizzlies Rally Falls Short In Loss To Fresno Goal

West Valley City, Utah - The Fresno Falcons defeated the Utah Grizzlies 6-4 Sunday afternoon at the E-Center. Utah fell behind 4-0 in the first period and made the score 5-4 in the third period before Fresno added a late empty-net goal.

Trailing 4-0 at the start of the second period, Utah made it 5-3 at the second intermission with two goals from Rob Sirianni (10,11) and one from Ryan Kinasewich (17).

In the third, Utah had three power-plays but was unable to score until another goal from Ryan Kinasewich (18) made it 5-4 at 10:41.

Utah scored four of the game's final six goals and outshot Fresno 26-15 in the final two periods and 32-31 in the game.

Mike Mole stopped 25 of 30 shots in the loss.

The Grizzlies return to action Friday and Saturday in Las Vegas. Face-off both nights is scheduled for 8:05 p.m.

Utah returns home Wednesday, March 26 to host Las Vegas at 7:05 p.m.
