
Wranglers Come Back Late to Tie, Win 3-2 in OT

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers edged the Phoenix RoadRunners 3-2 in overtime in front of 6,546 fans on Saturday night at the Orleans Arena. Left wing Ryan Donally scored with 1:09 remaining in overtime for the victory. Right wing Peter Ferraro tied the game with 33-seconds remaining to force overtime as Las Vegas moved to 8-0-1 against Phoenix this season. Goalie Daniel Manzato picked up the team's second overtime win of the season, stopping 19 of 21 Phoenix shots. Right wing Adam Cracknell scored a goal and also added two assists in the win. Despite stopping 40 Las Vegas shots, Phoenix goalie Tayler Dakers suffered the loss. Las Vegas will host Utah at 7:05 pm on Friday at the Orleans Arena.
Bakersfield jumped out to a 1-0 lead as Ryan Walsh scored his tenth goal of the season just 1:45 into the game. Las Vegas countered to tie the game in the second period as Adam Cracknell stole the puck from Phoenix goalie Taylor Dakers at 11:12. Cracknell then snapped in his 28th goal of the year, tying the game at one. The RoadRunners reclaimed the lead at 14:18 of the second period as Peder Skinner scored his 20th goal of the season.
In the third period, Las Vegas pulled goalie Daniel Manzato for the extra skater in the last minute. Right wing Peter Ferraro scored his 31st goal of the season at 19:27, tying the game at two. Tyler Mosienko and Cracknell each picked up an assist on the game-tying goal. The two teams skated to overtime tied at two.
In the extra frame Las Vegas, The Wranglers continued to sustain pressure on Dakers. Ryan Donally scored off a rebound at 3:51 of overtime for the 3-2 win. Cracknell and Jason Krischuk each had an assist on the game-winning goal.
The Wranglers will host Utah on Friday, March 14th and Saturday, March 15th at 7:05 pm.
