Evansville Otters News Release
Evansville, Ind. - Gateway hit three home runs, including two off the bat of Charlie Lisk to propel them to a 5-4 victory over Evansville tonight at Bosse Field. The Otters trailed by three runs on two different occasions and both times they came back to cut the lead to one including the seventh inning when they plated two runs, one coming on a solo home run by Alex Fonseca. In the end they couldn't come up with enough offense to support former Purple Ace stand out Kai Tuomi (0-1) in his debut with the Otters.
Evansville travels to Windy City tomorrow to kick off a three game set against the Thunderbolts with first pitch slated for 7:05 CDT.
