Grizzlies Mascot Hitchhiking To Las Vegas

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies mascot Grizzbee will be hitchhiking to Las Vegas to watch the team in games one and two of the ECHL's National Conference Finals Monday and Tuesday at the Orleans Arena.

Grizzbee will be dropped off at the corner of 3500 South and Decker Lake Drive in West Valley City at approximately 5 p.m. this afternoon to begin his 423 mile journey to the Orleans Arena. He will be holding a sign that says "Vegas or Bust."

"We offered to buy Grizzbee a bus ticket to get down there, but the kid is too proud and he insisted on finding his own way," said Grizzlies Director of Operations/Broadcasting Adrian Denny. "We have warned him of the dangers of hitchhiking and wish him the best in getting to the conference finals."
